Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a warm and welcoming and professional demeanor
- Check-in and check-out patients efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about Fichte Endl & Elmer Eyecare services
- Handle patient inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring appropriate allocation of time/resources.
- Maintain accurate patient records and handle cash/check/credit card transactions
- Answer phone calls courteously and professionally, schedule appointments, transferring calls to appropriate department.
- Patient registration, collect and enter patient demographics and insurance information accurately in the EMR
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, scanning to support a smooth functioning in the front office.
- Customer Service - address patient inquiries professionally, escalating complex issues to management as needed to and ensuring resolution to patient satisfaction.
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
Skills:
- Previous experience in a private practice setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using front desk software systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Team Collaboration - Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical staff and administration.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette

Pay: $17.93 - $19.00 per hour
