Summary:
The Patient Engagement Specialist will perform outbound telephonic outreach to our patients to schedule appointments and deliver on-the-spot transfers to our clinical team. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to establish rapport with our patients and have experience multitasking within multiple computer applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct and accept outbound and inbound phone calls with enrolled patients to ensure they are supported per CSS client program specifications.
- Perform data entry, that includes demographic information on patient profiles in our computerized database.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible.
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude when interacting with patients, clients, and coworkers.
- Follow all established CSS policies and procedures including but not limited to HIPAA, privacy, and security policies and procedures.
- Perform administrative support functions as needed.
- Perform other duties or tasks, as assigned, or required.
- In-office training required minimum of 30 days.
- Remote work from home after successful completion of training.
- Must have high-speed internet.

Education/Experience:
- At least 1 year of Customer Service and or call center experience preferred.
- Available for in office training (30 business days) then position is remote.
- HS diploma/GED required.
- Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new programs.
- Excellent verbal, written, and Customer Service skills.
- Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information.
- Understanding of HIPAA, Privacy, Safety, and Compliance guidelines.

Availability:
Full Time: Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
