We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team! We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Representative in our Rock Hill office. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of medical office front desk experience; experience with NextGen is a plus. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while ensuring excellent patient care. Must be able to work as part of a cohesive team, maintain accuracy and be dependable.
- Checks in patients; collects payments and verifies and/or updates insurance.
- Obtains proper insurance documentation and demographic information.
- Processes new patient paperwork and/or updated paperwork.
- Prepares for upcoming appointments.
- Explains insurance authorization to patients as necessary.
- Schedules follow up appointments as requested by physician
- Counts Petty cash and document on log.
- Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
- Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
- Health insurance experience is a plus
Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm with flexibility based on business needs.
This position should be available to travel to our Ballantyne and Matthews South Market locations as needed to assist with coverage.
