Patient Experience Specialist

We are an independently owned private practice in West Lawrence specializing in eye health for all ages with an immediate full-time opportunity.

Essential Duties

Greet patients: Must start each Patient Experience off with a positive greeting and welcoming energy

Verify current insurance information as well as demographic information for each scheduled patient

Prepare daily paperwork for scheduled patients

Contact referring and previous providers to request records

Submitting prior authorizations for prescriptions

Take ownership of the schedule - (reminder calls, keeping the cancellation list updated, etc.)

Assist with light cleaning

Other duties as needed - we are a small office with a tight-knit team, so there are lots of additional things you're welcome to learn as you express interest in them!

Job Requirements

Education/Experience – High school diploma or equivalent

Sales, hospitality, customer service experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
