- Position Summary:
- The Referral Specialist coordinates and schedules all referrals ordered by the provider with the appropriate entity.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- High school or equivalent
- Completion and maintenance of a certified medical assisting training course or LPN
- Minimum Experience
- Medical Assisting experience or LPN experience preferred
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- Medical Assisting Certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA) Or LPN licensure
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
