We are currently seeking a Patient Account Rep to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for a group of Patient Accounts from discharge to final disposition of the account. This will include the proper and timely entry of billings for Commercial payers and Managed Medicare payers while providing excellent customer service when answering questions and finding resolutions to billing issues. This position also works closely with the admissions department to pro-actively resolve and prevent billing errors. and accurately verify patient eligibility via the internet and review/update any information in the account.

Qualifications
Education: High School Degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Three to five years' prior collection experience in a hospital setting recommended. Must be able to demonstrate average to high math skills. Knowledge of managed care, third party payment procedures, and government programs strongly recommended. Knowledge of credit collection and confidentiality laws highly preferred. Understanding of Patient Account Revenue Cycle.
