What Does a Patient Access Manager Do?: As a Patient Access Manager with Lower Keys Medical Center, you will spend your day…

• Managing the day-to-day operations for the Patient Access department.
• Planning, organizing and directing department activities and providing leadership and supervision to personnel.
• Reviewing and studying all Federal and insurance policies and procedures.
• Coordinating, implementing and supervising department workshop/training sessions.
• Responsible for daily reconciliations and banking of the Patient Access department.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, while performing a variety of tasks.
• Typically reports to a director.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
