Pathologist Assistant - Noblesville - $55/hr

Job Summary
We are looking for a Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Noblesville, IN. The Pathologist Assistant will assist the Development Services Department with research and analysis activities related to clinical Pathology. As an integral part of the team, the individual will help with high-complexity functions for a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team.
Compensation & Benefits

• This is a full-time contract position.
• The compensation is $55 per hour (paid weekly).
• Healthcare Coverage Reimbursement (if qualifications are met)

Responsibilities
• Collect and review pathology samples and reports to ensure accuracy
• Provide pathology services including stain preparation and gross examination
• Prepare, organize, and analyze cytology and pathology slides
• Assist in research and development of new methods and processes for pathology
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, maintaining medical records, and inputting data
• Participate in conferences and meetings
• Maintain laboratory certifications
• Stay abreast of current technology and techniques within pathology
Requirements
• Master's degree from a NAACLS accredited Pathologist Assistant program
• Two-Three years of experience working in Pathology
• Knowledge and experience of laboratory procedures
• Proven ability to successfully multitask in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Comfortable working on computers and technology
