We are seeking a Patent Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our client's Chicago office. Qualified candidates should be registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and have a minimum of 2 years of law firm experience that includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Experience with a variety of technical areas, including mechanical, electromechanical, software, and/or electrical inventions, is preferred. The work may also include advising clients regarding clearance, validity, and infringement of patent and trademark rights. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills are required. The work requires attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines. Admission to the Illinois Bar or ability to immediately waive in is required, admission to the California and/or Texas Bar is highly desirable.
