Lateral Associate - Engineering/High Tech

Patent Attorneys & Intellectual Property is currently accepting applications for a lateral attorney position (associate or junior partner) with an engineering or high tech background (computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science).

Job Requirements:

• A high-tech background (e.g. computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar)
• Experience in the field of AI/machine learning is highly preferred
• 2-5 years of patent prosecution experience
• Licensed to practice in Illinois (or licensed in another state and qualified to sit for the Illinois Bar Exam)
• Admission to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Innovative thinking and creative problem-solving skills
