Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. As a Parts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership's parts department. Your primary responsibilities will include managing inventory, sourcing parts, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Duties: - Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms - Collaborate with the auto body repair team to identify and source necessary parts - Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and perform regular inventory audits - Utilize CMMS systems to track parts usage, order status, and delivery schedules - Process parts orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment - Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to parts orders - Collaborate with dealership staff to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication - Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry - Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes and terminology - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external suppliers - Proficient in using CMMS systems for parts management - Demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Note: This is a paid position.
