Parts Specialist

Overview:
Causeway Marine is currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Specialist to join our team. The Parts Specialist will play a crucial role in our marine service department, assisting customers with their parts needs and ensuring that our inventory is accurately maintained.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their boats and marine equipment.

2. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries promptly and accurately.

3. Maintain an organized and efficient parts department, including inventory management, ordering, and restocking.

4. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure that the right parts are available for scheduled repairs and maintenance.

5. Keep abreast of industry trends, new products, and technical specifications to better assist customers and enhance department efficiency.

6. Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, including invoicing and payment processing.

7. Handle returns and warranty claims in accordance with company policies and procedures.

8. Maintain a clean and orderly parts department, including display areas and storage areas.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Prior experience in a parts department or related field, preferably in the marine industry.

3. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

4. Knowledge of marine equipment and parts, including engines, drive systems, electrical systems, and accessories.

5. Familiarity with parts cataloging systems and inventory management software.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

7. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

8. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
