Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to add to our team whose primary responsibility will be to run a busy parts department in a variety of tasks at our Pittsburgh, PA location. Previous experience in a parts department, including work as an Assistant Parts Manager, in a heavy equipment or truck parts environment is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Locate, order, and provide correct parts, accessories and merchandise while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Pricing parts to maintain profitability
- Collaborating with service manager to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs
- Maintaining an effective parts catalog system
- Managing warranty claims on parts
- Hiring, supervising, and training parts department
REQUIREMENTS
- Customer service-driven attitude
- Strong customer service and phone skills a must
- Ability to multi-task accordingly
- Solid negotiating capabilities and follow-up skills
- Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Results driven
