Parts Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and trustworthy person to help us launch the newest branch of our growing company: E&R Diesel Parts Store!

Daily duties would include:

-Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the parts department

-Maintaining inventory of all parts and supplies

- Coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts

-Collaborating with the diesel service department to fulfill parts requests for repairs and maintenance

-Implementing and maintaining effective warehouse management practices

-Ensuring accurate record keeping of parts transactions and invoices in our electronic system

-Efficiently and accurately managing customer payments including balancing a cashier drawer daily and reporting to the accounting department

-Interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications needed include:

-Previous experience (2 years) in heavy truck service or dealership parts management

-Strong knowledge of heavy truck parts and their applications

-Familiarity in using electronic inventory systems

-Excellent organizational and time management skills

-Ability to negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms

-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

-A positive attitude and ambitious work ethic

Note: Pay will be hourly, plus a commission based bonus program! This job will require a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
