What You’ll Do:
The Parts Interpreter serves customers by answering inquiries, determining requirements, fulfilling requests, selling parts and routing telephone calls. The agent manages large amounts of inbound calls and interacts with a high volume of customers daily to process orders and provide overall customer satisfaction.
- Answers customer calls, emails and texts using the Contact Center Software Application
- Utilizes various electronic parts catalogs to ascertain correct part numbers
- Uses cross-reference materials to find alternative solutions for OE parts
- Efficiently provides customers with products and service information to high standards
- Determines requirements by working with customers and identifying needs
- Handles customer’s inquiries regarding all matters pertaining to transaction and sales history
- Sells additional parts and services by recognizing opportunities to up-sell
- Explains new features or information to customers
- Manages and resolves customer complaints
- Completes transactions and processes orders
- Routes calls to appropriate resource if needed
- Follows standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Must be a current VVG employee
- At least 3 years of experience in truck/automotive parts counter sales.
- OEM dealer experienced required
- Knowledge of commercial truck supplies, equipment and mechanical parts required
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
- Experience in call center environment preferred
- Data Entry and strong typing skills preferred
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple requests and responsibilities effectively and timely.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a quiet workspace location and reliable internet service
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) and or (Punjabi/English) is a plus
- $23-32/hour depending on experience + Commission
