Pre-Suit Attorney, Premises Liability Focus

A Leading Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a Premises Pre-Suit attorney within our Premises Liability department in our New York City offices.
Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
• Complete the Flip-to-Litigation approval for viable cases
• Guide clients through the lifecycle of their case
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
• Complete turndown approval for viability issues
• Oversee formation of demand packages & settlement negotiations
• Manage the release approval process
• Manage a team of multiple Case Managers
• Focus on Premises Liability cases throughout the state of New York
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
• Handling of Examinations Under Oath, Recorded Statements and other pre-litigation duties as required
• Regular reporting to Premises Pre-Suit Operations Manager

Requirements:

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with the NY State Bar Association
• 1+ years of personal injury or premises liablity experience
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-litigation cases
• Ability to manage multiple Case Managers
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
