We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our clients team as a Parts/Service Counter Person. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts and service needs for consumer, commercial, or recreational equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and expertise. Retail and mechanical experience required.

Mon-Fri 8am-5:30pm
With an hour lunch ( every other week you will work 6 days, Monday - Sat (sat hours are 8 am - 2pm)
$20-$23/hr DOE
Responsibilities: Parts Counter/Customer service/Sales
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they approach the parts/service counter.
- Assist customers in identifying their parts and service needs for consumer, commercial, or recreational equipment.
- Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers regarding parts compatibility, installation, and maintenance.
- Process parts orders accurately and efficiently using the appropriate systems or software.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure availability of parts and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the service department to schedule repairs or maintenance services as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts/service counter area.
- Keep up-to-date with product information, industry trends, and advancements in consumer, commercial, or recreational equipment.
Qualifications: Parts Counter/Customer service/Sales
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment, preferably in a parts/service counter role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach.
- Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems or inventory management software.
- Knowledge of consumer, commercial, or recreational equipment and their parts is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts orders and customer information
