Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Parts and Supplies Specialist at SD Polymers in Macon, GA. The Parts and Supplies Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as purchasing, supply management, and procurement. The role involves ensuring the availability of raw materials and components needed for production, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers. The Parts and Supplies Specialist will also be involved in analytical tasks and effective communication within the organization.

Qualifications

• Parts & Supplies Specialists Job Responsibilities:
• Contact vendors for parts ordering, Research, and Pickup Parts for Plant by coordinating with the maintenance supervisor
• Maintain Monthly Updated Inventory of Parts via database
• Order & maintain list of production supplies
• Check weekly reordering points with Production Supervisors
• Orders and purchases parts; verifies parts numbers from appropriate catalogs; prepares purchase requests.
• Coding Parts and all purchases to individual departments for accounts payable.

Compensation:

• $18-$22/hr
• 20-40 hrs week, M-F
• Can be 8-12 am or 8am-5pm
• Valid Driver’s License Needed
• Three year clean MVR

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
