Job description

Company:

At Brightline, we believe in creating meaningful connections through exceptional experiences. We’re creating a brighter way to get there by making travel more convenient, more sustainable, and more hospitable every day. If you’re optimistic, forward-thinking, and interested in shaping the future of travel with us, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Purpose:

As part of the Onboard Experience team, you will play a critical role in delivering a safe, compliant, and best-in-class onboard guest experience. Onboard Lead will support the Onboard Management team as a first line of defense in the daily onboard operation and with training and developing Brightline’s Train Attendant team.

If you’re a people-person looking for a role where you’ll be empowered to own your zone, inspired to learn, and have the confidence to bounce back from setbacks, this is the perfect opportunity!

Your Role:

  • Customer Service:Provide attentive and detailed service to all guests; use suggestive selling techniques when referring to menu options and retail offerings, and cordially share information about our Company services and destinations.
  • Food Prep:You are responsible for ensuring our guests' food and beverage needs are taken care of. That includes ensuring all food/beverage meet Company and safety standards. You will also serve alcoholic beverages adhering to Company established standards, including visually checking and verifying proper identification.
  • Guest Empathy: You play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests, anticipating and helping them navigate the various needs they may have before boarding or after arriving.

We are a new business model – agile and evolving. This job description isn’t meant to be a complete list of your qualifications or all the things you’ll do.

You:

  • This is a physical job on a daily basis and requires the ability to use more extreme physical abilities in the case of emergencies. You must be able to move and lift heavy objects in a variety of directions including over your head, traverse across uneven terrain, exchange information in person and over electronic devices/systems, ascend/descend ladders, perceive the physical environment around you, and perform all safety-related procedures.
  • You have six months or more experience in guest service, sales, or serving food or drinks.
  • You are a minimum of 18 years old.
  • You are able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Combine your experience, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit by joining our growing team in Florida and Nevada. Brightline is pleased to offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, and the opportunity to make a difference while making history as the only privately-funded rapid rail service in the country.
