We are an IT Services company located in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. We are searching for an experienced and self-motivated part-time Senior Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. As the Senior Accountant/Bookleeper, you would be responsible for overseeing and augmenting our finance team for the accuracy of all accounting functionality with various system integrations, managing multi-state sales and use use tax compliance, HR audits, Benefits Management, Multi-State Payroll processing for 28 employees, credit card and bank reconcilliation, journal entries and corrections, and year end tax reporting to our CPA's. We have a full-time accounts receivable and accounts payable department, CPA Firm, HR Consultant and comprehensive systems in place to complement your role.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to multitask and manage time appropriately
- Reconcile and resolve ledger variances
- General Accounting duties
- Manage Accounts Payable processing
- Month end and Year end closing
- Multi-State Payroll processing and benefits review and compliance
- Multi-State Sales Tax filings and compliance
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Write up for business tax preparation
What you need:
- Driven work ethic in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting/tax industry (public accounting preferred)
- Strong QuickBooks Enterprise experience, MS Office Suite (Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) experience
- Experience with Connectwise PSA software is a plus
- Multi-State Payroll knowledge is required
- Thorough understanding of Sales tax Nexus requirements
- Understanding of general and related sub-ledger reconciliation close processes
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $35 Per Hour
Physical setting: Office with ability to work from home.
Schedule: 3 days per week, longer during year end and tax preparation time.

License/Certification: CPA (or relevant bookkeeping experience)
