Senior Accountant
Location: Barnwell, SC
Salary: $55K-$60K DOE
Are you an experienced accountant with a keen eye for detail and a knack for financial analysis? We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our team. If you have a degree in Finance or Accounting, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
-Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational goals.
-Month End Closeout: Perform month-end financial close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
-Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, and collections.
-Insurance and Investments: Assist in managing insurance policies and investment portfolios, ensuring adequate coverage and optimal returns.
-General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, posting transactions and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
-Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
-Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
-Audit Support: Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
-3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
-Proficient with Outlook and Word.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
-CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus.
