Part-Time Scheduler

Job description

Intimate, friendly office setting in Davie is looking for an individual with high energy and great work habits who is exceptionally detail-oriented and a quick learner to provide support to a team of behavioral health professionals.
The Scheduler's primary responsibility is to manage work schedules for over 90 employees using our medical billing software. This includes providing support to therapists, clinical supervisors, management, and the overall staff. The Scheduler is responsible for assisting therapists and clinicians with all aspects of scheduling appointments in addition to managing cancellations, make-up appointments, and therapist availability.
Preference will be given to individuals with experience in hospital/clinic settings (HIGH volume scheduling) and with medical software. Experience with ABA/behavior analysis insurance billing is preferred, but not required. Knowledge and experience with Central Reach billing software are also preferred, but not required.
This is a small intimate office setting and the candidate must work well with others - this is a MUST; in addition, to the qualities mentioned above:

• Excellent computer skills - Must be competent in Word, and Outlook and have basic skills in Excel
• Excellent typing skills - must type over 55 wpm
• Excellent command of the English language, written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills via email, IM, and telephone
• Excellent math computing skills
• Manage a high volume of emails
• High level of professionalism
• Positive and friendly disposition

Minimum Experience: Scheduling: 1 year (Required)

25 hours/week, Monday through Friday
