Form of workBusy outpatient PET/CT facility nearby to INOVA Fairfax Hospital in search of someone with 3+ years of medical experience (preferably with scheduling patients and heavy phone usage) to assist in the PET/CT scheduling department. Must be familiar with patient insurance coverage and obtaining preauthorizations for high-tech imaging, PET and CT.
The ideal candidate must possess significant attention to detail, and be able to work independently, yet still be part of a team.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to registering patients, obtaining preauthorizations, scheduling patients for CT and PET/CT studies,.
