Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-time Restaurant Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a Restaurant Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in providing administrative support to our restaurant management team. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage general administrative tasks including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing inquiries to appropriate team members.
- Maintain and update restaurant records, files, and documents.
- Help with preparing reports, presentations, and other written materials.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist with office supplies inventory management, including ordering and stocktaking.
- Help with payroll processing and tracking employee hours.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as the kitchen and front-of-house staff, to ensure smooth operations.
- Support management team with special projects and tasks as needed.
- Sort and organize incoming invoices for scanning to accountant.
- Completing monthly task to insure we have handed in all account payables.
- Assist mangers with HR and personnel paperwork for employees.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Prior experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.
