Stevens Construction Corp. is a commercial general contractor serving the Midwestern region with offices in Madison, Milwaukee and Bloomington, MN. We specialize in the new construction of various commercial, multi-family, senior living, and mixed-use buildings.
The Receptionist is a job-shared role of the front desk at our Corporate Office in Madison, WI.
Office hours are 8:00AM-5:00PM. This position is scheduled for 2 full days a week, Thursdays and Fridays, working 16 hours a week. In addition, time-off coverage as this is a job-shared role.
Duties:
- Answer incoming phone calls, professionally and pleasantly, giving routine information, screening calls, and transferring to the correct parties.
- Greet vendors, customers, job applicants and other office visitors in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Open and closing of office duties. Locking/unlocking front door, phone forwarding, ensuring UPS has been picked up and mail is out for delivery.
- Keep conference rooms neat and in order. Prepare coffee & refreshments for meetings as needed.
- Open, sort, process and route mail.
- Prepares UPS/FedEx packages and reports, ordering labels as needed.
- Order office supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience working in a corporate office setting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must have high attention to detail, strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
- Must have positive attitude and willingness to learn!
