Part-Time Order Picker 5:30pm - 10:30pm Sunday-Friday Nights
- Accurately pick and select product
- Uses electronic hardware, i.e. scan gun or other hardware, to receive and enter information
- Stacks merchandise onto carts, pallets, or hand trucks
- Twisting, bending down and over, reaching overhead and down, and standing and walking for the entire shift, packages can weigh up to 50 pounds
- Correctly labels packages within company guidelines.
- Loads the merchandise in an area of the warehouse or on the back of a vehicle in an organized way for easy delivery by a driver
- Counts product to make sure it is accurate
- Loads trucks as directed, neat and organized so the load does not tip during movement
- Move product, and relocates it in the warehouse using freight moving equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and, if certified, fork lifts.
- May need to wrap pallets using a pallet wrap machine or hand held wrap
- May be asked to assist in inventory processes, or other warehouse activities.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area. Must follow all food safety guidelines.
- Must be able to work and take direction.
- Ability to count accurately and follow direction
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ability to read both alphabetic and numerical characters as displayed
- Ability to follow procedures
- Ability to use freight moving equipment
- Ability to work in a cold environment, approximately 32 degrees F
- Ability to lift repeatedly and safely up to 50 pounds

- Physical effort is required for lifting and moving packages up to 50 pounds
- Work is normally performed in a chilled warehouse environment, approximately 32 degrees F.
- Must be 18 years old or older per OSHA requirements
