Part Time Morning Nanny In North Winton Village

Family Concierge (http://instagram.com/familyconciergetm) is excited to collaborate with a caring and dedicated family in Rochester’s North Winton Village to find a nurturing and trustworthy Morning Nanny for their 10-month-old baby boy. This role is ideal for a childcare professional who values gentle parenting and Montessori-style play, is passionate about engaging and developmental activities, and understands the importance of a screen-free environment for infants.

About the Role:

• Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week, three days a week from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with potential flexibility in the summer
• Child: Primary care for a 10-month-old baby, focusing on safety, engagement, and developmental milestones.
• Activities: Engaging the baby with diverse screen-free activities like reading, outdoor time, arts and crafts, and Montessori-style play. The selected candidate should be proactive about light child-related housekeeping.
• Parenting Style: The family follows a gentle parenting philosophy, emphasizing safety, engagement, and developmental activities without strict structure.
• Nursing: The nanny should be comfortable coordinating with the mother for nursing times.
• Home Environment: The family's home is located just two blocks from the mother's workplace, allowing for easy access if needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: 3+ Previous experience as a nanny or childcare provider, especially with infants, and an understanding of child development and gentle parenting principles
• Skills: Excellent engagement and communication skills, with the ability to plan and execute developmental activities without the use of screens
• Personality: A compassionate, attentive caregiver who can seamlessly integrate into the family's routine and philosophy, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the baby
• Qualifications: CPR and First Aid Certification are required. A background in child development or early childhood education is preferred.
• Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.

Compensation:

• $20 - $22 per hour

Duration of Job:

• Urgently hiring, with a start date as soon as possible
• The nanny will work with the family through October 2024
