Primary Objective of Position
Responsible for carrying out the day-to-day functions including daily receiving, inventory, processing, documentation, and shipping of pharmaceutical products to fulfill orders generated through the customer development team. This includes physical and computer receiving, cycle counting, shipment tracking, as well as picking, packing, and shipping of specialty pharmaceuticals. The candidate must have an appropriate sense of urgency, timely communication, and dedication to accuracy in all aspects. The position involves daily interaction with all cross functional departments.
Major Duties/Responsibilities
- Receive and verify accuracy of materials and products against packing list and invoice.
- Sort and place pharmaceutical products in appropriate areas according to customer identification labels.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation with the use of computerized inventory systems.
- Communicate daily with management to proactively address any supply issues.
- Pick, stage, and package orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipping and international customs documentation.
- Track shipped packages as required to confirm timely delivery.
- Process returns to reverse distributor.
- Conduct physical inventory and weekly cycle counts.
- Perform ongoing housekeeping to maintain the work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Maintain an appropriate sense of urgency to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Contribute effectively as a team member, with or without direct supervision.
- Develop and sustain professional working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Follow company safety policies and SOP’s.
- Assist in always keeping the facility safe and secure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate must have the following to be considered:
Education: Minimum of High School Diploma
Experience: 1+ years of experience in a logistics/inventory role or current enrollment in logistics or inventory management degree/certificate program.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook and Excel
ERP experience a plus
Candidate must pass a drug test and criminal background check
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
