The Fine Arts & Communication Department seeks a qualified, part-Time Instructor to teach Basic Video Production and possibly Video Editing. Candidates must be familiar with fiction and documentary production as well as digital video, sound production, and set lighting. Proficiency with Final Cut Pro essential. Proficiency with ProTools, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
The Fine Arts & Communication Department seeks a qualified, part-Time Instructor to teach Basic Video Production and possibly Video Editing. Candidates must be familiar with fiction and documentary production as well as digital video, sound production, and set lighting. Proficiency with Final Cut Pro essential. Proficiency with ProTools, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro preferred.
Position is Security Sensitive.
Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
Salary Detail:
Masters Degree under 20 students $850/credit or $2,550 per 3 SCH
Masters Degree over 20 students $500 extra
Ph.D. under 20 students $900/credit or $2,700 per 3 SCH
Ph.D. over 20 students $500 extra
Summer Faculty $4,200 per 3 SCH, max 6 SCH per session, prorated for fewer than 10 students
Summer courses above the max 6 SCH are paid at the overload rate of $2,130
Other Information
Texas Law requires a 60 day waiting period before new state employees are eligible to enroll in health insurance.

The report contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority; crime reporting policies; campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); fire safety policies and procedures; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported; and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Noncampus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.

The Department of Biology, Geology, and Physical Sciences offers BS and MS degrees in biology, chemistry, and geology. The graduate programs in Biology and Geology enrolls approximately thirty students each, primarily thesis seeking.
