AMSG needs a Change Management Specialist to support a potential customer with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Strategic Acquisition Management Initiatives (SAMI) office.

Education:BA/BS degreeExperience: Minimum of6 years experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling messages for various audiences.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Organization Change Management strategies and plans.
- Experience in managing internal and external communication channels, including websites, social media, and newsletters.
- Knowledge of branding and marketing principles to effectively promote the program.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with graphic design software and multimedia tools is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Accredited in Public Relations) are a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform tasks requiring the knowledge and skills for a multidisciplinary approach to managing change and transition within organizations, programs, and projects.
- Developplans associated with transition management,
- Implement major initiatives,
- Communications associated with major initiatives, risk assessment, and organizational transformation and culture change;
- Complete Change Management assessments and Change Management strategy;
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance;
- Create actionable deliverables, such as a communication plan, road map, coaching plan, training plan, or resistance management plan; supporting and engaging senior leaders;
- Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities;
- Integrate Change Management activities into a project plan, and evaluate and ensure user readiness;
- Manage stakeholders; tracking and reporting issues;
- Define and manage success metrics and monitor change progress.
