AMSG needs a Change Management Specialist to support a potential customer with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Strategic Acquisition Management Initiatives (SAMI) office.

Requirements

• US Citizen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling messages for various audiences.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Organization Change Management strategies and plans.
• Experience in managing internal and external communication channels, including websites, social media, and newsletters.
• Knowledge of branding and marketing principles to effectively promote the program.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with graphic design software and multimedia tools is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Accredited in Public Relations) are a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform tasks requiring the knowledge and skills for a multidisciplinary approach to managing change and transition within organizations, programs, and projects.
• Developplans associated with transition management,
• Implement major initiatives,
• Communications associated with major initiatives, risk assessment, and organizational transformation and culture change;
• Complete Change Management assessments and Change Management strategy;
• Identify and manage anticipated resistance;
• Create actionable deliverables, such as a communication plan, road map, coaching plan, training plan, or resistance management plan; supporting and engaging senior leaders;
• Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities;
• Integrate Change Management activities into a project plan, and evaluate and ensure user readiness;
• Manage stakeholders; tracking and reporting issues;
• Define and manage success metrics and monitor change progress.
