Filtration Group Finishing is on a mission to make the world, safer, healthier and more prodcutive. We are looking for a part-time HR Coordinator at our York, South Carolina facility. The Human Resources Coordinator will be under the direction of the FG-Finishing Human Resources Manager. This role will partner with the local leadership team and larger FG-Finishing HR department.
Responsibilities:- Maintain record of personnel-related data for payroll, contact, leaves, and turnover rates in both paper and computer databases to ensure all employment requirements are met
- Ensure effective utilization of plans related to human resources programs and services
- Assist with employee performance review and termination
- Assist with all cycles of the recruitment and interviewing processes
- Provide administrative assistance by responding internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
- Redirect human resources related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
- Schedule meetings, interviews, and human resources events, and maintain the team agenda
- Produce and submit reports on general human resources activity
- Answer employee requests and questions
- Assist with new employment hiring processes and onboarding
- Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Coordinate employee training sessions and seminars
- Helps coordinate, plan, and set up employee engagement activities and community out reach
- Updates HR Boards weekly
- Be a culture champion and a culture advocate for our company.
- Continually look to see how things can be done better - come up with options, seek to understand and then make it happen.
- Supports Human Resources and the leadership team at the plant in York, South Carolina to create and optimize all facets of our team members workplace lifecycle experience.
- Helps Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Sits in on team member coaching sessions, disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Support other functions as assigned.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR administration or coordinating role.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
- Organizational skills, with proven experience prioritizing work and coordinating several projects at one time.
- Proven ability to build trust with business partners
- Proven ability to be a creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit.
