Job Title:HR Payroll Coordinator
Location: Cayce, SC
Work Schedule: Full Time

Compensation - $55K - $65K
Experience Required – 3-5 years minimum
Duration – Full-time
Location – Columbia, SC On-site
Summary of Responsibilities
MUST HAVE PAYROLL / HUMAN RESOURCES EXPERIENCE.
The Human Resources Payroll Coordinator duties will include but are not limited to accurately processing weekly payroll and all related tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll (multi-state).
- Manage the recruiting process for exempt and nonexempt employees.
- Maintains HRIS data integrity.
- Conducts new hire orientation for new employees to explain company policies, benefits, etc.
- Prepares and analyzes reports.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
Job Requirements
· Proven experience as Payroll Coordinator or similar role.
· Process timesheets and update payroll records.
· Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is correct.
· Update data with salary or wage adjustments.
· Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks.
· Process other financial compensations or deductions (bonuses, commissions, garnishments, etc.).
· Build and run custom reports as needed.
· Maintain employee confidence by delivering instruction and training to employees regarding the function of payroll-related systems.
· Provide clerical support by filing, scanning, photocopying, etc.
· Familiarity with ATS; onboarding new hires.
· Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Analytical with good math skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Effective oral and written communication; speaks clearly in positive and negative situations; listens and gets clarification and responds well to questions.
· Adapts to changes in the work environment.
· Proficient with Paychex, ADP or other HRIS.
· Ability to maintain confidential information.
Education:
- Associated or Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Business, or related field.
- 5-7 years HR/payroll experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
Work Environment:
- Fast paced, multi-platformed environment.
- Prolonged periods sitting and working on a computer.
