Part Time Farm Maintenance

Briar Hill Stables has one Part Time maintenance opening from now until September/October.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

· Fixing fence boards, gates, posts, etc. as needed

· Landscaping (maintenance & planting etc.)

· Weed Eating· Mowing· Painting as needed

· Miscellaneous Repairs/Upgrades around the farm/barn

· Maintaining Aesthetics of inside & outside of barn

· Dragging Paddocks as needed, fertilizing as needed, and seeding as needed

· Maintaining Arena (corners, weeds, etc.)

· Blowing Leaves

· Blowing CY

· Pressure Washing

· Changing light bulbs etc.

· Organize & Maintain tools, equipment, etc.

· Trimming Tree limbs/branches as needed

Skills Required: MUST HAVE HORSE EXPERIENCE

· Organizational Skills

· Good Communication Skills

· Heavy Lifting, twisting, bending etc.

· Withstanding Hot & Cold Outdoor Temperatures

· Keeping workspace clean as you go

· Obtaining Safe Practices while handling tools and equipment

· Landscaping

· Maintenance skills

Other Requirements:

· Have Reliable Transportation

· Over 18 years old

Schedule & Compensation:

· Part time (roughly 15-20 hours per week)

·This job is seasonal from now until September/October

· Pay is based upon experience

· This is a 1099 position, and a W-9 is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
