(Part-Time - West Knox) (Full-Time - Downtown Knoxville)

Large Healthcare organization is looking for a compassionate individual who has excellent customer service skills. Possessing good computer skills is a must. Pay is $16.25/hr. for the part-time and $16 for the full-time opportunity.

- Part-Time: Preferred times are 1pm-6pm ,2Pm-7pm, or 3pm-8pm
- Full-Time: 8am-4pm
- Temp with the potential of perm hire

The HIM Administration Call Center is responsible for telephone reception and faxing requests of Medical Records for multiple facilities.
- Use of proper customer service and phone etiquette is required.
- Required to answer a High volume of calls on a daily basis while maintaining ROI accuracy. This is a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA & HITECH Guidelines, State and Federal laws, and company Policy and Procedures is preferred.
The primary responsibility is to assist the caller or requester with release of information regarding continuity of care and questions regarding health information.

Seeking someone with experience in Medical Records/HIM experience. Must know the HIPPA Laws.
These duties are associated with the responsibility to protect the medical record from improper release. The specialist is expected to release the record to the requestor after validation of a proper authority.
Preference may be given to individuals possessing an Associate’s degree in a directly-related field from an accredited college or university.
