About Hollywood Park

Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25-acres of public parks and open space.

Home to the Los Angeles Chargers and Super Bowl LVI Champion Los Angeles Rams, SoFi Stadium is the host of world-renowned sporting events, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, College Football Playoff National Championship game 2023, WrestleMania 2023, World Cup 2026, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics in 2028. Adjacent to the stadium and under the same roof canopy is a 2.5-acre open-air plaza, American Airlines Plaza, and the 6,000-seat YouTube Theater. YouTube Theater is an intimate venue, making it the perfect place for concerts, comedy, awards shows, esports competitions, community gatherings, conferences and more.

As the Parking Coordinator, You Will..

Reporting to the Manager of Parking, the Parking Coordinator will be tasked with operational and administrative functions within the Parking and Transportation Department. This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and seamless organization amongst the different principles within the department. The coordinator should be highly organized and able to multitask with ease. The coordinator's main tasks will include but are not limited to assisting the Manager with organizing and executing all event parking and transportation needs. Maintaining equipment and supply orders, reviewing and coding vendor invoices, organizing and maintaining files and reports, tracking, and submitting contract payments, booking meetings and logging meeting minutes, creating agendas, coordinating department schedules, maintaining department SOP'S, drafting interoffice memorandums, distributing mail. The ideal candidate has experience in an operational and administrative background. The candidate must be familiar with office software (e.g., Google Suite), including word processors, spreadsheets, and presentations.

More Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To…

  • Assist and coordinate all Parking and Transportation needs during events and overall, 365-day needs.
  • Coordinates Parking and Transportation operations throughout the district
  • Proficient in Event Vehicular and Pedestrian Traffic Management.
  • Coordinate with third party providers on staffing deployments.
  • Serve as departmental administrative functions including ordering office and field supplies, maintaining internal databases, implementing, and maintaining a filing system for customers and external partners, distributing incoming and outgoing mail, answer and redirect phone calls, submitting department expense reports and other administrative functions, as necessary.
  • Receive, review, and submit vendor invoices in accordance with established organizational policies.
  • Keep and maintain records to include physical copies and digital copies. Records may include vendor invoices, expense reports, executed agreements, operational plan and other files.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations.
  • Organize, store and print company documents as needed.
  • Handle inquiries from managers and employees
  • Update departmental and operational policies and ensure compliance with them.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure parking needs are met and executed efficiently.
  • Assists with the development and successful implementation of formalized department policies and operating procedures that meet industry best practices, as well as guarantees all codes, laws, ordinances, policies, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules, regulations, and emergency procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for the aggregation of all parking data.
  • Conduct parking analysis and utilization studies.
  • Coordinates the distribution and development of any parking event orders, and internal communications.
  • Works closely with the Communications Department in preparing vital parking and transportation information for public dissemination.
  • Responsible for addressing all customer service issues related to parking and transportation.
  • Develops and maintains a harmonious working relationship with other tenants, facility contractors, city, county and/or state agency personnel, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned by Department Management Team.

We'd Love to Hear From People With….

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an event venue setting.
  • High school diploma required, and at least 2 years of college credit preferred.
  • Must be able to work on weekends, and holidays and during any event scheduled at Hollywood Park. Due to the variable nature of special events shift times may fluctuate.
  • Must be able to work and produce results under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; Ability to communicate effectively and to convey instructions or information to all levels both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, vendors, partners, subordinates, and guests.
  • Proficient with Google Suite programs.
  • Ability to receive and maintain confidential information.
  • Must possess high analytical skills.
  • A positive attitude and an ability to maintain a cheerful disposition and a smile while working hard.

Compensation Range: $24.00 - $25.00

Hollywood Park considers a candidate's education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
