A Park Worker I in the Housekeeping division at Dale Hollow Lake State Resort park will perform the duties of a housekeeper – including the following:

• Responsible for ensuring lodge rooms are clean for guests
• Performs janitorial duties for convention center, hotel lobby and campground.
• Cleans lodge rooms including sweeping and mopping floors; cleaning sinks, tubs and toilets; changing out dirty towels and bed linens.
• Cleans public restrooms, lobby, and hallways.
• Checks linen carts for inventory and corresponds to laundry worker what needs to be laundered and brought to the linen closets for the day. Works laundry facility.
• Assists with inventories and ordering of cleaning supplies such as soap, shampoo, ice liners, etc.
• Follows up by assisting with inspecting other cleaning staff's rooms for cleanliness and turning in daily room report at the end of the workday.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
