We offer an early learning center for preschool and kindergarten students, including a community education center. This center includes many outdoor and indoor active learning spaces. Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4, focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities and core curriculum. We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8, focused on advisory, exploratory and experiential learning opportunities. Our high school is for grades 9-12, offering college, vocational and work ready courses. We have many opportunities for fine arts and athletics for all students. A Career Technical Education (CTE) Center providing students opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers and cabinetry.

Job Summary:
Facilitate student academic growth and social growth by providing individual or small group support/reinstruction and service at the guidance/direction of certified staff. This position requires confidentiality, good communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, teamwork, and knowledge of technology and may require heavy lifting. Provide support for student health needs to include training on seizure protocols, diabetes protocols CGM Blood Sugar Monitor, Hearing Aides, and lift transfer procedures as well as specialized equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience and ability to work with students; ability to follow and carry out the classroom teacher's instructions; familiarity with computer use and good communication skills. High School Diploma or GED required.
Days/Hours:
Hours may vary slightly but will generally be 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on all school days plus additional training as directed

Starting at $16.00 per hour; Union Classification A13;
