Salary4U Home Health Care South is seeking a Home Health Aide to join our excellent field team! Candidate will assist in the care of an elderly male in the Shakopee area.
Hours would be Monday-Friday, 9a-12p and more hours can be obtained with additional clients (not a requirement of this position). Client is looking for strong-willed, independent person that can take the lead on cooking meals, cleaning, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provide client with daily reminders (shower, medication, grooming, etc.)
- Light housekeeping duties (sweep/mop/dishes/laundry)
- Food prep/cooking
- Companionship
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Collaborate with client for best care opportunities
- Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
Qualifications:
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build a positive rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Background / fingerprint check and two-step TB Mantoux
