About this Position
The Paralegal/Retirement Plans Specialist supports and promotes the sale of Retirement Plans by PFSI Representatives.
This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite in the Duluth, Georgia office and remotely multiple days each week.
The estimated salary range for this role is: $54K -58K
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Support and promote the sale of Retirement Plans by PFSI Representatives as follows:

• Administer the Plan Help Desk and interact with PFSI Representatives by telephone and email to promote the adoption of Erisa compliant sales practices; educating representatives as necessary
• Review potential sales for possible conflicts of interest
• Prepare required 408(b)(2) disclosures for PFSI Representatives to present with plan proposals
• Become familiar with required PFSI sales-related forms and approval processes to assist representatives in completing in-good-order applications
• Prepare Retirement Plan Service Agreements when necessary and work with representatives to obtain execution
• Asist in developing training materials and guides for representatives
• For PFSI representatives working with governmental entities, promote awareness of FINRA Rule 2030 restricting political contributions and obtain execution of agreement
• Perform initial review of political contributions captured by Illumis tool and identify issues
• Conduct due diligence review of mutual funds submitted for approval by outside vendor

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent computer skills required; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point; working in pdf format
• Detail oriented; good analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Must be capable of using judgment to raise concerns to executive management when necessary; administer and document resolution of issues
