This Shell Rock, IA Painter position involves providing production-painting functions for various production units, sub-assemblies, components and service parts.
Responsibilities:
- Application of the actual coating solution (wet paint) to various finished production units, sub-assemblies, components and service parts with a 6 lb. pneumatic spray gun.
- Apply appropriate surface coverage on parts of varying shapes, sizes and configurations.
- Insure proper thickness and consistency of coating being applied to the part surfaces.
- Spend 65% of the work hours manually coating (spraying) parts
- Touchup coating (spraying) of parts; changing out spray guns, making color changeovers and moving product in and out of paint booths.
Physical Demands:
- Full range of motion in arms/ legs and shoulders
- Solid hand / eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to successfully complete all applicable OSHA and company sponsored trainings
