We are looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Painter to join our Lansing team. If you are a motivated go-getter and have attention to detail, we would love to talk to you!
Description
- Prepare equipment to be painted by washing, blasting, sanding etc.
- Paint Heavy Equipment and complete each repair/paint job in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
- Minor welding, fabrication work, and other repairs as needed
- Work and manage workloads independently
Qualifications/Skills
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Possess own basic hand tools
- Must have extreme attention to detail
- Ability to lift between 10 – 30lbs frequently and up to 80lbs occasionally
- Work Environment: Regularly will work near moving mechanical parts; frequently will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and will be required to wear proper safety gear
- Able to pass a background screening and drug test
- Preferred: 1-2 years of previous Heavy Equipment or automotive painting and/or body work experience
