Job Description:
- Operate Heavy Equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and GPS systems.
- Participate in planning and executing day-to-day crew operations.
- Adhere to project timelines and communicate any anticipated delays.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture by inspecting and maintaining machinery regularly.
- Utilize Heavy Equipment for demolition and excavation work, such as building removal and digging subterranean structures or basins.
- Process concrete for loading and disposal.
- Perform machine inspections and maintenance at the beginning and end of each workday.
- Collaborate closely with the Grading Foreman or Project Manager to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating Heavy Equipment.
- Proficiency in municipal underground work, site preparation, earthmoving, and utilities installation.
- Self-motivated, hands-on, and proactive with a proven track record of reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Experience with general power tools and safe working practices
- Applicants must be punctual.
- Applicants should maintain a sense of urgency while on the clock while maintaining quality of work.
- The ability to hustle and move quickly is a must
- Have a Valid Driver's License and reliable Transportation
