- Package finished products into bags or bulk containers using semi-automated packaging equipment.
- Transport and load finished products using an industrial lift truck.
- Spot railroad cars and locate them at appropriate position utilizing a mechanized rail car mover.
- Work at elevated levels to measuring Silos, fill railcars and bulk trucks and utilizing Fall Protection devices.
- Must be familiar with chemical processing equipment for potential transfer to Utility Technician to operate filter presses.
- Perform minor maintenance duties on packaging equipment.
- Brace and place tonnage for all railroad cars and trucks.
- Replace baghouse filters as required by Maintenance Schedule.
- Clean bag packaging and bulk loading equipment.
- Receive and stock shipping pallets and product bags.
- Inventory of packaging supplies and finished products.
- Daily housekeeping for Packaging Area.
- Operation of Ink Jet Printing System.
- Operation of Automated Palletizer and Stretch Wrapper.
- Perform other duties as required.
- High School Diploma required.
- Satisfactory completion of all defined self-study and Process Specific training requirements for the Packaging Operator Classification.
- Satisfactory completion of On-the-Job Training requirements.
- Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Systems training (ISO9000/14001), GMP and Responsible Care Training.
