Mother Earth Wellness is a vertically integrated cannabis cultivator, processor and

dispensary operator located in Rhode Island. We are currently operating a state-of-the-

art facility servicing the existing medical and recreational cannabis client base.

Mother Earth Wellness brings extensive customer service knowledge, restaurant

ownership, design capabilities, and construction experience to the market. We are

seeking a fully qualified and experienced Packaging Supervisor to join our team

during this exciting time in our journey.

Job Duties

Mother Earth employs multiple Packaging Associates to support our current cultivation

operation and Compassion Center. Role-specific tasks will include the supervision and

organization of these associates manually packaging cannabis products, compliant

labeling, as well as the operation of packaging equipment, trimming, packing, cleaning,

and any other tasks as assigned by management.

Role and Responsibilities - Managed by The Director of Packaging

● Supervise and expedite routine packaging operations; assist the Packaging

Director as directed

● Maintain and foster efficient and ongoing communication amongst the packaging

team and management

● Monthly Packaging Materials Audits and Reports

● Assessing need for departmental equipment orders (reporting to Director of

Packaging)

● Monthly Maintenance of equipment and stations

● Training Team Leads and new employees of packaging processes.

● Menu reports and departmental status updates daily/weekly.

● Keeping note of errors and performance metrics of associates and leads.

● Stocking and organization of packaging materials within the department.

● Delegating assignments to packaging associates and Team leads.

● Keeping a professional atmosphere and assuring production levels are met.

● Maintaining points of contact and communication with interdepartmental leads

within the chain of command

● Organization of workflow to sustain full/part time employees during any given

week.

● Set up, Operation, and Break down of packaging equipment.

● Cleaning & preparation of rooms and equipment.

● Oversee and Organize product packaging & general production support.

● Processing products.

● Label Production and Compliance Checks.

● Oversee and Organize Labeling of products.

● Packaging orders for shipment or storage.

● Completing paperwork in a timely manner.

● Updating software as required by SOPs and regulations.

● Lifting & stocking boxes of up to 75lbs.

● Additional duties dependent on business needs.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

● Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.

● Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry,

including a State required background check.

● Minimum of 2 Years in the marijuana field.

● Experience with METRC/Seed to sale Programs.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform

grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of

time. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 75 pounds. Work requires periods of

prolonged sitting and standing, some bending, stopping, and stretching. Work requires

heavy use of hands to squeeze, pinch, and secure packages.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
