We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Bilingual Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English/Spanish and possess excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Bilingual Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures courteously and efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally, providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage reservations, including booking, modifying, and canceling guest room reservations accurately and efficiently.
- Handle guest requests and concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk area, including the lobby and guest service areas, to present a welcoming and professional environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as processing payments, preparing reports, and maintaining guest records accurately.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Act as a liaison between guests and other hotel staff to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any guest-related issues.
- Stay informed about hotel policies, procedures, and special promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of service excellence and contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in hospitality management is a plus.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) with the ability to effectively communicate with guests in both languages.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds in a friendly and professional manner.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the business.
- Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service to our guests.
