As our Packaging Engineer Intern, you will work with our Design Engineer team and support our products related to Storage and Organization. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced, and multifunctional team that works with colleagues across the US and China to bring products to life in a very short timeframe. In just a 12-week span you will gain exposure to the full life cycle of a product from design through final production. Your impact will be immediate, allowing you to see the fruits of your labor!

Duration: 12 weeks (May-August)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay: $20/hour
Location: Itasca, Illinois
Schedule: Remote on Mondays & Fridays and in-office Tuesday-Thursday
During your time with us, you will...
- Conduct competitor analysis on corrugated products and provide insights and results to the Design Engineer Team
- Support line extensions of our At Play products that are developed for major retail customers
- Create and test corrugated products in the engineering lab and evaluate production in our onsite facility
- Collaborate with our global sustainability teams to implement and achieve our sustainability initiatives
- Assist with tasks from Product Development and Marketing teams such as
- Dimensional measurement requests for new devices and verifying compatibility with our products.
- Create structural packaging designs in ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks, & nanoCAD
- Documentation for Design Engineer team
