SalaryWagly is looking for an overnight Stay-Coach for our Rancho Santa Margarita location. Stay coaches are in charge a variety of jobs around the campus including handling boarding dogs and cleaning. To be successful at this job, you must:
- Understands each and every pet’s specific personality, needs, and preferences
- Facilitates structured activities designed to address pets’ specific needs: physical engagement and mental stimulation, fitness, etc.
- Observes pet behavior, and intervenes as necessary to prevent fights and injury to pets
- Actively encourages play/interaction between pets and pet activity
- Cleans and sanitizes all items or during the night or as necessary
- Takes pets to, and retrieves pets from, boarding area as necessary
- Promptly cleans/mops up after pets when they eliminate
- Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes floor and camp equipment at end of day
- Follows all procedures to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be available from 10:00pm - 6:30am
Qualificiations:
- Must be a pet fanatic – pets are part of your family!
- Must be high school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to be on feet for full shift
- Must be able to stand, walk frequently
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and squat
- Must be able to work on computer system, and complete written reports
- Must be able to handle large dogs on leashes
- Must be able to work in a noisy/loud environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander,and eliminations.
- Must display a professional manner at all time.
