Overnight Kennel Attendant

Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and passionate Overnight Kennel Attendant to join our team. As an Overnight Kennel Attendant, you will play a crucial role in the well-being and comfort of our canine clients during the nighttime hours. This position is ideal for individuals who have a genuine love for animals, especially dogs and are committed to providing top-notch care. This position will start with training in our North Hollywood location and you will eventually move to our West LA location.

Job Duties:

- Monitoring and ensuring the well-being of dogs during overnight stays

- Feeding, administering medication, and maintaining cleanliness in kennel areas

- Conducting regular check-ins on dogs to ensure a safe and comfortable environment

- Collaborating with the daytime staff to share information about each dog's needs and behaviors

- Assisting with any additional tasks related to the facility's operations

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with animals, especially dogs

- Ability to work independently and responsibly during overnight shifts

- Strong observational and problem-solving skills

- Comfortable with basic tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and administering medication

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

• Night shift
