Job Description
- Monitor and maintain a safe and supportive living environment during overnight hours.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure the well-being of residents and address any emerging concerns.
- Provide support and assistance to residents who may require help during the night.
- Collaborate with the daytime staff to communicate any relevant information about client activities or concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and staff.
- Respond to emergencies or crisis situations, following established protocols.
- Document significant events and communicate relevant information to daytime staff.
- Foster a sense of community and encourage positive interactions among residents.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Recovery Peer Advocate, CRPA
- Certified Recovery Peer Advocate Provisional, CRPA- Provisional
- Previous experience in a similar overnight support role is preferred.
- Understanding of substance use disorder and familiarity with recovery principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle crisis situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals in recovery.
