Job Description
- Conducting one on one peer support sessions.
- Facilitating peer support groups.
- Utilizing recovery expertise, professional training and lived experience.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for clients, sharing personal experiences of recovery.
- Outreach to engage individuals currently in a program or considering treatment.
- Educating program participants about various modes of recovery.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress and offer encouragement.
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Certified Recovery Peer Advocate, CRPA.
- CRPA-Provisional, CRPA-P.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Previous experience working in the field of addiction recovery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
